The C.V. Roman Health Center is Parkland Health’s primary care facility, dedicated to serving the South Dallas community. Located within the reimagined Shops at RedBird, the clinic is part of a broader redevelopment effort aimed at revitalizing the area into a vibrant, walkable hub that blends healthcare, retail, office, hospitality, and residential uses.

Austin Commercial partnered with GCC Enterprises, a local, African American, veteran-owned construction management firm, to deliver the 42,000-square-foot renovation of a former department store. This strategic collaboration aligned with both firms' goals for long-term growth and capability development, fostering a unified, integrated team approach throughout the project.

The facility now offers a wide range of essential healthcare services, including radiology, women’s and infants’ care, outpatient services, physical therapy and rehabilitation, behavioral health, pharmacy, laboratory, administrative offices, and welcoming patient waiting areas. The C.V. Roman Health Center stands as a cornerstone in South Dallas’s continued revitalization, offering accessible, community-centered care in a modern, purpose-built environment.
