OUR COMMITMENT

Ethics & Compliance

Austin Industries is committed to the highest standards of ethical behavior and integrity. All employee-owners must follow our Code of Ethics, compliance policies (including, but not limited to our Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy) and applicable Federal and state law in all activities and operations.

Austin relies on the policies and standards set forth by our board of directors and company officers as the principal code to ethical conduct. During the year, we conduct training and testing with all employee-owners on company policies and ethical behavior. For example, we require employee-owners to complete annually an online ethics questionnaire concerning their activities and we certify their compliance with our ethics and compliance policies. We conduct online and live, one-hour, compliance training for all employee-owners. Moreover, our Compliance Team and Corporate Compliance officers keep up-to-date on Federal and State law updates to ensure our policies and practices remain current.

REPORTING VIOLATIONS AND AUSTIN OPEN DOOR HOTLINE

Austin's Open Door Hotline allows employee-owners, subcontractors and other business partners to anonymously report unsafe, illegal, unethical behavior and harassment or other concerns relating to our business practices.

Corporate Officer Reporting

Austin's policy provides robust resources for employee-owners to report any concern or complaint regarding misconduct or policy violation by company officers.

Company culture should constantly reinforce an open, trusting environment where all events, whether positive or negative, are reported in the spirit of learning, not just catching someone making a mistake.
