The ORMC 4th Floor Surgery Project is a multi-phased renovation of the Surgical Suite at Orlando Health's downtown campus. Covering approximately 75,000 square feet, this project focuses on reconfiguring and modernizing existing space to enhance surgical capacity and patient care.
Key upgrades include the addition of five new operating rooms and an intraoperative MRI suite, significantly boosting the hospital's surgical capabilities. The renovation also includes 44 patient bays in the C Wing and 40 patient bays in the B Wing, providing ample space for pre- and post-operative care. Additionally, a new 2,700-square-foot surgical waiting room has been constructed, offering a comfortable and welcoming area for patients' families.
All these enhancements were completed in accordance with the architectural plans and specifications, ensuring that the upgraded facilities meet the highest standards of healthcare design and functionality. This project represents a significant step forward in Orlando Health's commitment to delivering top-tier surgical care and improving patient experiences.
