Back »

PROJECT BRIEF

In support of the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP), this project will provide new Terminal Improvements at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to integrate the new Automated People Mover (APM) system with the existing terminals. The Terminal Cores will be a new 3+ level facility on the east side of the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) with elevators, escalators and stairs. The project will also include minor modifications, enhancements, and additions to the existing interior spaces (restrooms, concessions, office space, etc.). A future pedestrian walkway will connect TBIT Core to the future APM Station between Parking Structures 3 and 4, and structural provisions will be included in the TBIT Core to support and interface with this future pedestrian walkway.
