PASADENA, TX - Austin Industrial was awarded the top prize of “Best Overall Winner” at the recent annual HASC Tailgate Extravaganza event. Austin clinched the win by showcasing our core values of Safety and Employee-Ownership.
Using the tagline, "Lights! Camera! SAFETY!", Industrial's designs showcased Austin Industrial employee-Owners in remakes of popular movies such as "Caution-Blanca" and "The Wizard of OSHA." We rolled out the red carpet, which featured gold safety stars recognizing our jobsite employee-owners who show exemplary Safety. We also featured film reels with Austin’s greatest ZERO INCIDENT hits, like Covestro with 2.3 MILLION manhours, and Bostik with 33 years.
The event culminated with the announcement that Austin Industrial was selected as a finalist for the 2026 “Safety Excellence Awards” for XL General Contractors after being nominated by over a dozen customers. Each year we are nominated by many of our customers and we have reached the finalist selection for 10+ consecutive years. This is our second year in the top XL General Contractors category.
