Austin Industrial was recognized in April as winner of the Work Practice Innovation Award by Marathon Petroleum’s Catlettsburg (KY) Refinery at their Contractor Leadership Meeting. Catlettsburg contractors were asked to submit an application in late 2020, describing innovative practices and continuous improvement in three areas: safety, work practices, and COVID-19 response. Austin Industrial's application described the team’s use of AustinCARE™ and AIMS, plus the corporate Austin website dedicated to COVID-19 information. ¶ Marathon’s site management indicated that the company most values Austin’s safety performance, as well as audit productivity, and addressing of barriers. Austin congratulates the Catlettsburg team for providing exemplary service to Marathon.
