Austin is pleased to announce that it has been honored by both Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and Associated General Contractors (AGC) with national safety awards. These awards reflect Austin’s longstanding commitment to safe work and our moral obligation to protect every worker on our jobsites.
Austin Commercial received the National Safety Excellence Pinnacle Award at ABC’s 36th annual Excellence in Construction Awards in Salt Lake City on Mar. 19. This marks the fourth consecutive Pinnacle Award for Austin Commercial. Contractors were judged on self-evaluation scores, lost workday case rates, total recordable incident rates, and other safety factors, as well as interviews with members of ABC’s National Health and Safety Committee.
Austin Commercial came in first place at AGC's Construction Safety Excellence Awards in the Construction Management category with more than 600,000 work hours. Following a rigorous application process, ACLP was named a finalist and invited to present in person at AGC’s national convention. The team delivered a formal presentation to a panel of judges, followed by a Q&A session, before award recipients were announced.
CSEA recognizes companies that have developed and implemented premier safety and loss prevention programs, and those that achieved continuous improvements in the areas of health and safety.
Austin extends its congratulations to the Austin Commercial team for their continued success in keeping our workers safe.
