Austin Bridge & Road announced it was the winning bidder for the initial project on a new corridor around Southeast Dallas. The 12-mile long segment of the project is located between I-35E and I-45, from Red Oak, TX to Ferris, TX. ¶ The company will construct the roadway and bridges through new right of way for a total of approximately $78M. This project is being built to address population growth to the south and to provide additional east-west connectivity.
