The first building on the new campus, the Classroom/Office building includes all of the components necessary to support an independent learning institution. Instructional space both small and large, office space for faculty, academic departments and administration, student and enrollment services, informal gathering spaces, food service, bookstore and building support must be all accommodated.

The building is designed to provide for programmatic requirements while satisfying functional requirements we well, including comfort, durability, and efficiency of operation. The building will establish a compelling precedent for the architecture of the new campus and serve as a symbol of the university, as a recruiting tool for both students and faculty, and as a place where the university community and the community at large can interact.
