Austin Industrial currently provides maintenance, capital and plant services at 11 LyondellBasell facilities in the Texas Gulf Coast/Louisiana Triplex area employing more than 550 employee-owners. These facilities produce chemicals such as propylene oxide, styrene monomer, olefins, MTBE, alkyls, TBA and others used in the manufacturing of various plastics.

Austin provides a full range of craft personnel to perform such services as civil, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, dock/truck loading, general utility, construction services and turnaround execution. The work is performed on a reimbursable basis with a profit-at-risk/incentive contracting structure.

Our construction services are provided to all sites from a core group based at LyondellBasell’s Channelview facility. This concept allows for more efficient use of resources including supervision, planning/scheduling and estimating.

Additional synergies are also noted in the ability to move craft personnel between the maintenance and construction services groups when needs arise.

Austin Industrial is an approved STAR contractor in OSHA’s VPP at LyondellBasell's Bayport (2), LaPorte, Beaumont, & Channelview (2) sites.
