Austin was awarded the General Construction Contract for a new 1:1, nominal 300 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant for Austin Energy. The power plant is using a GE 7FA combustion turbine, Doosan duct–fired HRSG, and GE D11 steam turbine. Austin Industrial has teamed up with its sister company, Austin Commercial, to provide all construction management services as well as performing civil/structural and piping construction services.
