Austin Industrial transitions new contracts
ConocoPhillips. Two of the new sites are with ConocoPhillips oil refineries in Borger, Texas and Ponca City, Oklahoma. The Borger site involves maintenance and capital work and transitioned more than 200 employees to Austin. About 80 people were transitioned to Austin at the Ponca City site where Austin will be performing maintenance.
Chevron Oronite Company, LLC. Austin also took over the maintenance work at the Chevron Oronite Company, LLC Oak Point Plant in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Austin expects to employ about 95 employee-owners at the facility where fuel and lubricant additives are manufactured. Austin assumed the contract from multiple contractors and will be performing all maintenance activities, including scaffolding, insulation, painting, and bulk handling.
Bridgestone Americas Tire Operation. Austin Industrial was hired to perform preventive maintenance, machining and battery attendant services at this 52-acre facility in Wilson, North Carolina.
Bayer MaterialScience. Austin recently transitioned between 300 and 400 new employee-owners at the Bayer site in Baytown, Texas where Austin will perform maintenance and capital services.
