W Austin

Located in the 2nd Street District of Austin, Texas, the W hotel will bring a new rhythm to the Live Music Capital of the World. The W Austin will be the center piece of block 21, featuring 250 hotel rooms and 196 private residences and will also be home to the new, 2,200-seat Austin City Limits Studio Theatre. The mixed-use project also includes a 30,000 square foot  new home for the Austin Children's Museum, and 25,000 square feet of retail and restaurants.

The project's diverse uses, combined with open public spaces at street level and on a raised piano nobile terrace, will provide a new town square for downtown Austin. The building's volumes are proportioned to fit into the delicate urban scale of this mid-rise section of the city.
