Located in the 2nd Street District of Austin, Texas, the W hotel will bring a new rhythm to the Live Music Capital of the World. The W Austin will be the center piece of block 21, featuring 250 hotel rooms and 196 private residences and will also be home to the new, 2,200-seat Austin City Limits Studio Theatre. The mixed-use project also includes a world class spa, and 25,000 square feet of retail and restaurants.
The project's diverse uses, combined with open public spaces at street level and on a raised piano nobile terrace, will provide a new town square for downtown Austin. The building's volumes are proportioned to fit into the delicate urban scale of this mid-rise section of the city.
