Chawla Hall is a student housing/learning facility. This facility will be the residence of approximately 400 students. There will also be 16 learning communities/facilities allowing the learning environment to extend into students' residences. The students will be clustered according to learning themes or major disciplines to encourage an environment more condusive to their field. Kalpana Chawla was a alumna of UTA and a Mission Specialist aboard NASA Space Shuttle Challenger.
