Full Description:

A key factor in the design and construction of the 2002 Dallas Convention Center Expansion focused on giving the center an identity. As with many renovated and expanded convention centers, the center seemed to lack a cohesive semblance. In order to continue to attract top conventions, the finished project had to be world-class in its appearance as well as function. The center was given a new entrance, a 94,000 SF lobby as well 384,000 SF of exhibit area. The innovative design of this enormous, columnless Exhibit Hall F features twin trusses that soar 12 stories above ground level at their apex and span a 390-foot distance above a flat roof.
