Children's Medical Center Legacy is a 72-bed facility consisting of 60 medical/surgical beds and 12 intensive care beds. This is a full service hospital including: imaging, surgery and recovery, pharmac, ICU, infusion therapy, cardio diagnostics, respiratory therapy and emergency, diagnostics and therapeutics center. The faciltiy consists of 300,000 SF and an additional 126,000 SF Ambulatory Care Pavilion. The campus project also includes a central utility plant designed to meet both the current and future expansion plans for this campus.
Children’s Medical Center Legacy was specially designed with patients and families in mind. From the many outdoor healing gardens and horses grazing in adjacent fields to the preserved 90-year-old oak Story Tree, a symbol of Children’s healing environment, Children’s Medical Center Legacy embraces and enhances the natural beauty of the site while encouraging a healthy, quick recovery.
