The Rental Car Center at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport accommodates ten rental car companies with a 137,000-square-foot customer service center, two parking structures, 8,300 ready/return parking spaces. This massive facility streamlines efficiency at the world’s busiest airport. The rental car companies share the customer service area; improving customer service to the more than 2 million people who rent vehicles annually at Hartsfield-Jackson.
Accessibility to the new facility is accommodated by an automated people mover station built into the CONRAC and road connections to the airport’s central terminal complex. A five-minute ride on the elevated automated people mover, the ATL SkyTrain, connects passengers to and from the main terminal building and CONRAC. The APM operates six, two-car trains. Each car can carry 50 passengers plus their luggage.
