AMD Fab 25

Austin Commercial served as general contractor for AMD’s Fab 25, a four-level semiconductor facility that produces microprocessors on eight-inch wafers. The building's first level serves as the product support level, the second level is the return air plenum, the third level is the cleanroom where the wafers are fabricated and the fourth level is the supply air plenum. Austin Commercial was responsible for the waffle table structure, foundations, and the cast-in-place and precast structures on the Fab 25 facility. Austin’s scope of work also included the exterior skin of the facility and four suppoprt buildings.
