Inclusiveness places a premium on recognizing, embracing and supporting the diversity of the workforce, subcontractors and vendors. And the award-winning Austin Industries Mentor/Protégé Program works with minority-owned, women-owned and disadvantaged businesses to advance their initiatives through best practices, networking with business service providers and opportunities to work with Austin Commercial on major projects. Austin Commercial has a corporate team whose purpose is to identify minority- and women-owned and disadvantaged businesses and provide mentoring and opportunities for those businesses to work on major projects.
