Austin Commercial’s executive team possesses extensive depth and breadth of experience. Most of our executives average at least 25 years with the company – some with 30 or 40+ years with Austin Commercial. These well-experienced industry leaders have guided the company through many significant milestones, establishing one of the largest and most diversified construction organizations in the nation.

David Walls, President

Named president of Austin Commercial in 1996, David Walls earned a bachelor’s of science in Construction Technology from the University of Houston and a master’s of science in Building Construction from Texas A&M University. Joining Austin Commercial in 1980, Walls has served as project engineer, project manager, senior project manager and vice president of operations before he was appointed president. Walls is a Certified Engineering Technologist in Civil Engineering Technology with the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies.
