Picnic Highlights Safety Appreciation and Awareness

Tim Bruce, project manager on the US 82 project in Arkansas, and more than 100 employee-owners and their family members gathered at the annual safety awareness picnic Saturday, August 25, at Magic Springs Amusement Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Everyone was given free admission including roller-coaster and water rides, a family picnic at the pavilion, and a pass to the Steppenwolf concert at the amphitheater. Bruce said the picnic was a success as it instilled safety awareness, family values, fun and appreciation to all Austin Bridge & Road employee-owners. “The picnic is for fun, but over hamburgers and barbecue, there was time set aside to acknowledge the importance of safety,” said Bruce. “We know our job is dangerous, and Austin Bridge & Road appreciates our employee-owners for their commitment to safe work habits,” said Bruce.
