Overpass Project on Schedule, TxDOT Says
The overall project connected to the rebuilding the State Highway 34/Wesley Street overpass across Interstate 30 remains on schedule, according to Craig Miser, Area Engineer with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Paris District Office in Greenville.
“They are staying pretty much in line with the amount complete versus the time worked,” Miser said of the contractors, Austin Bridge and Road of Irving.
The project was estimated to be 22 percent complete as of early July, although Miser said the work is probably a little farther along by now.
“They are just going like gangbusters out there and we are really proud of them,” Miser said.
