Locks of Love
Human resources coordinator, Katie Coyle, recently donated her hair to Locks of Love.
Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure.
“I went in to get a haircut planning to take off 6 inches. The hairdresser said if I went a few inches shorter, I would have enough to donate to Locks of Love,” said Katie. “I couldn’t resist. It is such a fantastic cause and someone can use it more than me. “
