DART contracts Texas firm to design, build Blue Line extension
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) recently awarded a design-build contract to Austin Bridge & Road for the Blue Line extension between Garland and Rowlett, Texas. Work on the nearly five-mile line is expected to begin next month. The $188 million extension is scheduled to open in December 2012.
